President Jeremy McLymont, esqUIRE

Samantha Parchment
Jeremy McLymont is the founding attorney of AsiliA Law Firm, P.A., a firm dedicated to criminal defense and civil rights. Jeremy is a client-centered attorney who is extremely detail orientated. Every case is personal for Jeremy because he knows firsthand how it feels to be a victim of the criminal justice system.
Jeremy is a native of Tampa, Florida. After graduating from Alonso High School he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from the University of South Florida in 2015. During his college years, Jeremy began focusing on the practice of criminal law while interning at the Hillsborough County Public Defender Office in 2013. After graduating from USF, Jeremy went on to earn his law degree from Florida International University College of Law.
During law school, Jeremy interned at the Public Defender Services for Washington DC, and the Miami-Dade Public Defender Office. During these internships, Jeremy advocated for the legal rights of indigent defendants. He was able to work on high level felony cases and low-level misdemeanors.
Upon passing the bar exam, Jeremy worked for two years as a trial attorney at the largest criminal defense firm in the state of Florida, The Miami-Dade Public Defender Office. As an Assistant Public Defender, Mr. McLymont represented indigent individuals who were facing felony charges. For years, he has been filing and arguing constitutional motions in court, taking depositions, trying cases and when necessary, negotiating favorable plea agreements with prosecutors.
